I just hope you didn't take the pics yourself
I suppose your adrenaline level was peaking but how did the car handle?
Did you hear the windscreen seals whistle and did the engine roar?
I did that (265 km/h) here in Finland with my K1 and I'm still in heaven![Innocent](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/innocent.gif)
PS 1. 260 km/h = 162 mph
PS 2. When you guys take these pics (with a friend I hope), put the photographer
on the rear seat so that the whole speedometer is shown and also the highway.

Mr Djurg?rden!
Ser riktigt bra ut!
What were you doing in Germany?? Business trip or just vacation ? Is your car really in 6 th gear ??
I do only have a picture of mine @ 190 km/h and it only revs 2600 RPM's - but hey it's a diesel!
![Autobahn trip-22072005_002_lille.jpg](https://5series.net/forums/attachments/e60-discussion-2/12408d1482363576t-autobahn-trip-22072005_002_lille.jpg)
I can confirm that the E60 drives like a dream at those speeds!
I did a testdrive in a Golf V GTI this week, and damn it's was fun even at 210 km/h, but the handling at high speed was better in our E60

The 530i tops about 250 km/h but the M5 without limiters could go as hast as 190 mph (over 300 km/h).
But I have to add, that when you get too speeds like 220 - 240 km/h a 10 km/h increase is a hell of an job...

no offence but 530i OLDER e60 my dad's driver did 260km/h easily, so it is not 250. Speeding over 200-220 is safer when there is of course few car, or better nobody, once reached 240km/h with my RS Skoda, no tuning that was fun!
