As the title says my auto wipers are not working.
When i press in the botton on the stalk the green light
dose light up like it always did but no matter how hard
its raining the wipers just dont work. The other half
drives the car 90% and she said she was looking through
the menu of the i-drive and might have changed something.
Could she have changed something? They were working
perfect the other day
I was also told there might be some way of reprograming etc.
Any one help please.

Not in the iDrive menu. Is your windshield cracked at all? Is there anything blocking the sensor? If not then I think you should take it in.

Maybe someone else has a better answer.

Good luck

Might help the research if we knew what year/model/options you have - not sure but it might help.

I can offer you this from my manual:

Rain sensor
The wiper operation is controlled automatically
as a function of the rain intensity. The rain sensor
is located on the windshield, directly in front
of the interior rearview mirror.
Activating the rain sensor
Press button. The LED in the button lights up.
Adjusting rain sensor sensitivity level
Turn the serrated dial 5.
Deactivating the rain sensor
Press the button again. The LED goes out.
Deactivate the rain sensor when passing
through an automatic car wash. Failure to
do so could result in damage caused by undesired
wiper activation.<

Adjusting rain sensor sensitivity level
Turn the serrated dial 5.

This dial is located to the left of the button, maybe your wife just reduced the sensitivity?
