Thumbs down

Hi all. Ordered my new 530i a week ago. Should get it within 8-10 weeks. Found this forum very interesting and useful. Does anyone know:

1. Is there a way to make all windows lift up (if left open) and sunroof closed (if open) automatically once locking the car with the remote control. Can I program it myself or would the only way be to add this feature after getting my new car?

2. As I also added the Extended Features to the AAC (for added features as well as better looks) I noticed I also got Extended Features to the On-board computer. What does this mean? What other features will I have to the on-bard computer?

Thanks.

With my car, after I've locked the vehicle, I keep my finger on the BMW emblem on the key and all the windows & sunroof close. I've read on here that someone else's car goes one step further and folds in the side mirrors, but mine doesn't do that.

When unlocking the car and keeping my finger on the unlock button on the key, all the windows and the sunroof open.

Hope this helps.

If you are not in the US, you may have this feature.

If you have the electric folding mirrors, you can have them fold up at the same also. But this you may need your dealer to enable it. It seems by default it doesn't do that.

The feature of closing windows by remote is called Comfort Closing and it is specific to country. The folding mirrors option is needed to allow folding mirrors by remote.
