Hi ya

Just had to say I am EXTREMELY impressed with the Auto hi beam on the E60. In the 3 years I have had my car, I've never had cause to drive at night in the countryside. Last night coming home after few days away I flicked on the high beam and it worked so well I was actually studying how quickly it reacted, and how sensitive it was. How does it pick up the tail lights of a car I can barely see in the distance? It was also dipping before the oncoming lights were even visible...

Well done BMW

Cheers

Same thoughts here. I have used it numerous times already during the past one year and I am really impressed.

Definitely one option I will order to my next BMW 5 as well.

... this could one of these Europe/Australia vs US options...

The code for the "High-beam assistant" is 5AC.

Both our cars have it (X5 as well) and it wasn't specifically ordered.... got the xenons... maybe that's part of it..

We are in the process of ordering a new twin turbo M-Sports X5 xDrive50 LCI as the family car to replace the wifes' E70, and this will definitely be something we get again...

Cheers
