I found my lights very unpredictable. However I recently changed the sensitivity
to "Very Sensitive" and its MUCH better now - not quite perfect but acceptable.
As other mention, it still gets fooled by bright-low sun.

Had SW upgraded to v15 at the same point - my auto wipers also went from junk
status to perfect operation, even in very light mist.

This issue is actually due to a software flaw. Version 16.0 of CIP should correct these issues.

Interesting...Any news when CIP 16.0 will be out?

Also, here's something I've been wondering about...

Once they fix the headlight sensitivity problem in software, are we all going to wish that our sensitivity setting be set to "normal" again? In other words, will the people who had it changed to "very sensitive" as a workaround to this current problem be screwed up again?

It looks like 16 will bring the changes, like bird view. So it will come out end of February, beginning of March over here in Germany.

So, only dealer can adjust the sensitivity ?? My auto light is working very unpredictable. Sometimes it turns off very quick under a sunny day but other day it stays up all the times...

Good question. Someone will have to be the guinea pig and let us know. I would think the factory default would be the way to go since the current issue is due to a communication problem between the light control module and the light/rain sensor. I think Canada will see CIP 16 in mid March, but who knows for sure.

I have noticed this. If the car goes through shades for a while, it may come on but once out of the shade it will go off. But if the light somehow has to stay on for a long period, then it takes a much longer time before it goes off. This is especially true for me in the morning or evening when the sunlight is not direct. Lesser of a problem when the sun is up and bright (and hot here). It does go into a crazy mode once in a while but I have my unscientific way of resetting it (and it didn't work for another fellow forumer), or when I get irritated I just switch it off.
