This is great news: can anyone else with CIP 19.x confirm that you can now control Daylight Running Lamps yourself from iDrive?

Only if you're not in North America... aka Canada and United States then you can control them thru iDrive otherwise its still a trip to the dealer...

Its been discussed before.

In Canada, you cannot turn the DRL off in I-drive. (Only the dealer can do it but most likely they won't, coz of legal issue)

I wish I could coz it looks nicer with just the angel eyes...the DRL kinda ruin the inside eyes...

I have another question regarding the lighting of E60. Do I have to switch the fog light on manually everytime with the Automatic lighting on? Or can I somehow program it to be switched on whenever the HID is on?
I love to have the fog light on whenever the HID is on!

Indeed, I presumed that the lights would be progressive, i.e. the angels come on first and when it gets even darker the HID's come on... shame
