Auto dimming mirror

Hi all,
New to this site and new to BMW e60.
I have just got myself a 2005 530D. For those who have the car will agree with me that its a joy to drive especially the torque on these is amazing
Anyways, had a question about the car just in case anyone has done this before. My car doesnt have a auto dimming back mirror and I want to change it to a auto dimming one. Has anyone done this before? Does the car have the wiring/power for these by default?

I know RadioHam had done this and when he moved to a 6 series he was looking to sell his mirror. Search the forum.
