Hummm this sounds more like a the car openning the trunk itself more than you guys sitting on the key.
Anyone remember the old trunk problems... It was a pretty big problem / complaint earlier in the E60s life... fixed now?

I have exactly the same problem and I'm really sick of this..
I happend to me about 20 times, when my car is parked outside, the problem is also wen I kneel down or something, the bootlid opens.
One time, when I was in bed at 23:00 my neighbors was on my front door warning mee for my open bootlid.
I asked the dealer if they could do anything to prevent this, and the only thing they can do is disable the buttons in the key.
They designed a key where the upper button opens the car, and the widely embedded button closes the car?? really stupid, so the first buttons you are going to press are the open buttons!!!!
