FWIW, BMW dealers in the U.S. will get their August, 2004 production allocations today. For those of you who are considering an immediate purchase today would be a good day to visit your dealer if you want an early August production date.

Based on past history production of the 2005 model year will begin next month so August would be the last month to take advantage of the current dealer incentives--assuming that they are continued into July and August. Presumably, BMW will extend them from the current June 30 expiration date.
