My 535i, E60 of course, puts out the stereo sound in strange cutting mode, left to right, vice versa. That's the best I can describe. This is especially obvious on AM stations (news, talk radio, etc.). Any clue, coding issue? This last year model has the updated 7 inch Nav, i-drive, premium option.

Oddly enough my 2007 530i does the exact same thing... hard to explain I agree. It's like a loose speaker wire or something cutting the sound out and such.

I too have the iDrive but no Nav.
