Attempted to drive in the snow- broke something underneath car
Hello everyone! Ok, so today It snowed in Texas. So, I attempted to drive my car... When I was backing out of my driveway, someone outside tells me there's something rubbing underneath my car. To my suprise, indeed that cover thing that covers the bottom of the car (where the engine bay is) was dragging. So, I saw that it kind of snapped off from the back side and tore off from both sides. So I just took the whole thing off since there was only one little screw left.
Now, the question is, is it safe to drive the car temporarily without that cover underneath? I took some jacks out to see what was under there and I snapped a few pictures... Does anyone know what's the part # for that piece?
I guess what happened is, bunch of ice got stuck in there and I forced the car to move from that one spot, so it just tore that piece off. FML
I am going to attach the pictures.

Sorry to hear.
You will be probably able to find the needed parts and numbers here and then go for a dealer to order them (in case you can not use the old ones):

ahh yes winter is so fun. this is the first car ive ever owned that has had a belly pan. Noother car i had ever had one so i dont see it being an issue, but u want to get it back on there before to much snow/salt water gets up in there. is the belly plastic broke or did the screws just wiggle loose?

These pans are there for two reasons. The main one is to aid air flow on the bottom of the car (to slightly improve handling and gas mileage) and the second reason is to protect any components on the bottom of the car. However, you can drive the car forever without them so take your time and search a wreckers yard for what you want or buy them at your dealer and install them yourself.
