ARRGHH....Just found out that someone just scratched my headlight. This is unacceptable. I guess someone just try to park his ****ing jeep and hit my headlight then ran off  . The scratch is pretty deep and visible.

My insurance has approved me to go the BMW dealer and have it repalced. I'll go check with my service advisor tomorrow. arrghh....

I hate when smth like this happens! I'm really fed up about all those things because i had my previous cars scratched, bumped ALOT! It's good in a way it's the headlight and not a painted part, because u would have had to leave the car for repainting.
Of course my car that is only a month and a half "old" has already some marks on the lower right side of the back bumper. :'(
People should be more carefull when parking and where they leave their cars parked, but here it seems as much as u struggle to find a good parking spot eventually someone will come and scratch/bump ur car...

I once caught a guy putting a deep dent into my previous car with his Explorer door on a parking lot. I asked him for his name etc.

He started screaming at me that he did't give a s.... about my car, that I was one of those BMW snobs, etc. He totally lost it.

I let him scream and called the cops. They didn't even come - they did NOTHING AT ALL. So I was stuck with my fat dent....

Some cops are just lazy a-holes, I had a previous suv stolen (escalade) with custom wheels (rare style) where you will not see everyday. Well I seen my wheels on another vehicle and confronted the driver and asked "where did you get those wheels?" he replied "a friend". I knew they were mine by a large engraving I put on them, so I called the detective that was assigned to my case and gave the license plate number to the officer. The cop did nothing, no follow up no nothing.

You're lucky your insurers will pay. These E60 headlights cost an arm and a leg and there's no way you can change only the cover. The whole set-up has to be changed.

I am afraid I am. They told me over the phone they wouldn't come because of a simple dent. And since the the guy only screamed at me and didn't get violent, they saw no reason to come.....

next time use, "Officer I am apprehensive about being hit; his screaming is causing me emotional distress and there is imminent danger of violence, as I open up on his buttocks!"

Gots to get those f'in cops moving somehow!!!
