I'm a potential newbie 550i owner, couple of questions I would appreciate opinions regarding 08/09 550i:
Is there much difference between the Steptronic and the SAT trans? I know the SAT was a $500 option, and I think aways includes paddles. But are the any significant pros/cons to either trans, performance-wise, or reliability-wise?
Will there be any issues registering a Arizona 550i in California?
Thanks, for any input.

No issues with registering an AZ car in CA. You'll probably only need to complete a smog check and then go to the DMV to register the car and pay for the taxes/fees.

A legend named Rudy once wrote a splendid review of the new SAT (sport auto tranny). Try and search it. I think you can filter by username.
