It (545) is catching on and gathering momentum. As you drive around in areas that are fairly well popolated and see the 5ers up against the competition and even beyond the 5 just stands out. Also as word passes that iDrive is a good thing as opposed to the R&T/C&D types panning the iDrive system more and more are willling to try it. All leading us the conclusions we had some time back - BMW still leads the way when it comes to the providing the "drivers" car.

Ya No doubt BMW is selling more cars but I'm saying with respect to the E39 525 and 530 and 540 there were very few 540s sold... but now with respect to the E60 525 530 and 545 theres twice as much 545s sold... seems like 545 is not as "rare" as once the 540s were.

Yep, the lease deal has been in effect since January so its having a positive effect on moving the 545's.

Not just that... the fact that BMW is MAKING more 545s then 540s to sell in comparison...
