Thumbs up

I am interested in getting 17" BMW wheels for my winter tire setup if they are in really good shape. Please let me know.

I read you'll be getting a MY '08 550i in Oct., congrats.

Please let us know more details.

PS. Get your 17" winter wheels from here.
For 17" 225/50 winter tyres I recommend Nokian RSi XL.

Already have Blizzaks, thanks but still need wheels. Would prefer 17" BMW wheels, hence my request in search of someone who is upgrading to bigger wheels.

Jonathan, I realize you're looking for wheels that fit your existing Blizzaks but depending on budget, etc., you might want to make an offer here:

Obviously, you'd be giving up some pothole damage tolerance but the tires work very well with they types of winters we see in this part of the country.

You could always sell the Blizzaks to someone who already has 17" rims...

Danke Rudy but the Blizzaks are brand new and for winter in NY, the pothole risk is much greater with 18 compared to 17.

I understand. The pothole risk is probably the primary concern -- the slightly used Dunlop tires would work fine for an NY winter (assuming NYC, not Buffalo or Rochester) and you'd be able to sell new Blizzaks quite easily.

That said, I get why you're "plan A" is to keep the tires you have and try to get some wheels to fit them...

I have an almost mint set of the 17x7.5 style 138 orig BMW from 2006 with the factory continentials 225x50x17 with a few thousand miles on them.

they are located in LI, NY if your intrested. Since they are local you could pickup and save shipping.
