My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
I read you'll be getting a MY '08 550i in Oct., congrats.

Jonathan, I realize you're looking for wheels that fit your existing Blizzaks but depending on budget, etc., you might want to make an offer here:

Obviously, you'd be giving up some pothole damage tolerance but the tires work very well with they types of winters we see in this part of the country.
You could always sell the Blizzaks to someone who already has 17" rims...

I understand. The pothole risk is probably the primary concern -- the slightly used Dunlop tires would work fine for an NY winter (assuming NYC, not Buffalo or Rochester) and you'd be able to sell new Blizzaks quite easily.
That said, I get why you're "plan A" is to keep the tires you have and try to get some wheels to fit them...

I have an almost mint set of the 17x7.5 style 138 orig BMW from 2006 with the factory continentials 225x50x17 with a few thousand miles on them.
