For those of you not absorbed in the facelift announcement/pictures/debates, I was wondering if anyone actually has the M Sport steering wheel on the E60. This is not to be confused with the regular Sport Steering wheel, nor is it the same steering wheel that comes witht the M5. I think.
I think the main difference is that the M Sport steering wheel is all black (no "Ruthenium" trim piece). Does anyone have a picture? I was curious as to how thick it is...

This is probably the regular wheel in the facelifted car:

I'm pretty sure that this is the M-Sport wheel in the facelifted E60:

Sorry - The M Sport wheel is not new, and has nothing to do with the new models. It's been available for a while. I am pretty sure it is all black (the pictures above show some non-black trim) and does not come with the paddle shifters (at least, not "standard"). It DOES have an M logo on the bottom spoke. The pictures above are of the normal "sport" steering wheel (no "M" in the name, no M logo on the bottom spoke).
Ah! Never mind - found it! It is all black, has the ///M logo, and has the "bulges" near 10 & 2:

Too bad this guy doesn't list the model years applicable for the steering wheel (they come in "up to 09/2005" and "post 09/2005" versions).

The E60 M Sport steering wheel is all black with black stiching and has an ///M badge and has thumb gribs. As in my E60 M Sport. It is a specific steering wheel only available in an M Sport E60. If you do not have an M Sport E60 you can order a sport steering wheel as an option but the sport wheel does not hav the thumb grips and doesn not have the ///M badge but it does have silver trims.
