anyone retrofitted a auto dimming rearmirror?

While I have the auto dimming mirror, I believe that you can dim your mirror by turning the red alarm light below the mirror. This is how it has been in my past BMWs.

yes indeed, you can dim it manually with the red button of the alarm.
But i want an auto dimming; that's much easier

Could someone tell how rearmirror will get off the windscreen. It geeps little rattling noise and I would like to look what makes the noise. And how mirror frame will open.
