I'm not sorry for giving sound advice. But since my advice isn't sound enough for you, don't ever ask for it. Problem solved.
You are egregiously annoying. Again, *yet someone else* is calling you out for being a dick.

Is it that hard to say it appears to be for the Sat Radio (back in the day when the SatRadio Antennas used 2 plugs as opposed to just the 1).

I always thought that SatRadio was on passenger side of the trunk... but if I were to guess, it would be SatRadio, or maybe HDRadio, but your 04 was out before HD radio really came into being.

Guys, lets discuss without being crass to each other here.

The connector is there in case you decide to retrofit the telephone snap-in connector that goes in your arm rest. Most will never use it, but it's there, if needed. Instructions are posted here---> Instructions - pdf download

thank you all for helping solve the mystery of these connectors. but i wont be retrofitting sat or anything as i would never use it! but i appreciate the response, and that's why i love this forum.

but AchtungE60 seems to be ALWAYS wrong on everything he post...im not sure if hes trying to be funny, or hes a dee de dee. either way, he sounds like the kind of person who gives the kind of advice that diesel would be ok to put in fully electric car.

He is very knowledgable about the e60 platform -- but I am fairly confident he is either asocial, or just a troll.
