Is it that hard to say it appears to be for the Sat Radio (back in the day when the SatRadio Antennas used 2 plugs as opposed to just the 1).
I always thought that SatRadio was on passenger side of the trunk... but if I were to guess, it would be SatRadio, or maybe HDRadio, but your 04 was out before HD radio really came into being.

My Ride: 2007 E60 550i Black/Sand. Dinan free flow intake, throttle body, carbon fiber strut brace, and exhaust. Carbon fiber engine cover. Blend mount for a Belltronics RD w/mirror tap. Smoke LED taillights. Projector fog-lites w/HID kit.

thank you all for helping solve the mystery of these connectors. but i wont be retrofitting sat or anything as i would never use it! but i appreciate the response, and that's why i love this forum.
but AchtungE60 seems to be ALWAYS wrong on everything he post...im not sure if hes trying to be funny, or hes a dee de dee. either way, he sounds like the kind of person who gives the kind of advice that diesel would be ok to put in fully electric car.
