In a world of the standard Black, Tan and Grey interiors it is unique, though OBVIOUSLY not everyone's taste!

Hence, my "to each his own" comment. My statement was not a value judgement on your taste, but mine. I'm a mostly conservative guy that feels comfortable amidst a "clean" light colored monochromatic color scheme with some texture (boring and uninspiring to some). Thus, my 535i selection was silver with light gray interior. Others prefer bolder, darker, and even contrasting color schemes (something that causes near sensory overload for me). Doesn't mean that one's choice is better than the other, but beauty is indeed often in the eye of the beholder.

Upon second thought, probably just should not have commented. However, as I scour through the forums everyday looking for nuggets of insight as an enthusiast of our cars, on occassion I succumb to the temptation of giving an opinion that is not particularly constructive. No insult intended.

I get it completely... thats why I used the smiley icon flipping the bird.... Like I said, I wasnt sold on the color at first but will say the interior gets more compliments than anything... Going to a loaner with "just" a grey or black interior was kind of blah to me after having this for so long... I actually saw the red interior on a white 3 and really thought it was different, and nice. NEVER thought I'd say that! I wanted grey or black.....

IMO, the best looking interior color BMW offers.

To each it's own. At first I didn't like this color too but after seeing so many blacks, beige, and grey, this one stands out! If I had a choice for my next car, I'd get Auburn Leather if it's an option

It is a great combo and looks great against black especially if your ext is also black. I have heard some sales folks call it "Baseball Glove Leather" in referencing the color. I love my black interior, however I would also love to have this combo. It is very hard to find. Too bad you do not have the "Sport" seats.
