Default Anyone know what this is?

2008 -550i on the drivers side under the hood. Just noticed this today. Anyone have any ideas?

IIRC it is a drain outlet for something. Don't remember for what fluid exactly.

Wow, I had never noticed that before and I spend a lot of time under the hood - mine was kind of tucked out of sight.

Is that where all the extra 'awesome' vents out?

i'm 99% sure thats the vent for the washer fluid resorvoir.

It's the washer fluid overflow outlet. Same in almost all E60

As was said - vent for washer fluid reservoir. I didn't know about that either, until I completly filled reservoir and bubles started to come out from that rubber pipe
