This is probably going to be the dumb question of the day; I'd like to know how to pronounce "Dinan". I've heard both "Dee-nan" and also "Die-nan" from supposedly hard core BMW guys, and I'm confused. I guess I'm asking how the people at the company itself pronounce it.

just call the company and listen to how they answer the phone then go with that.... only the company will trully know. people have different ways of pronouncing the same words...

There is normally no 'right' way to pronouce a proper noun. All you can do is say it like the guys who named it.
