So many people has done so. Driving at 100mph straight to a concrete block or a big tree. All the sounds will shut off automatically.
Please do yourself and your loved ones a favor, fasten your seat belt. What do you feel if someone in your family los his/her life in an accident?
I found it annoyed at first, but now all my front passenger must wear seat belt. Especially my (papa+bros)-in-law who never wear seat belt has to fasten it on my car . I don't have to remind them.

I agree that there's really no reason not to wear a seatbelt but if you still are inclined, search the forums -- there's a few answers out there waiting for you...

my only beef is that the car will FORCE me to wear a seatbelt, by annoying me to hell if i don't.

it's not a problem personally, since i buckle up out of habit - but it's the THOUGHT of a machine telling me what to do.

granted it's for my own good, but i own IT - not the other way around. <_<

Belt up and the sound goes away. Otherwise clip the wires to the front center speaker.

But, honestly and seriously, belting up is the best bet. It keeps the doctors and undertakers at bay.

Or buckle the belt before you get in and sit on it through the next crash.

Use a seatbelt from the rear seat, buy a dummy buckle, or search the forum for the instructions on how to disable it.

I think it's a valid question. I have a garage with a manual door, and every morning I have to backup 20 feet, get out and close the door.

Why should ANYONE have to fasten their seatbelt to go 20 feet?
