Anyone having engine knock?

My Ride: 545i 6-speed Orient Blue/Auburn
Have been hearing a knock once in a while when shifting from 1st to 2nd, using premium gasoline so that can't be it?

What kind of gas? I've switched to vendors that comply with BMW's fuel recommendations:

Try using gas from one of the listed vendors and see if it clears up the issue.

I know that you said that yu use Premium Gas, but maybe when you got the gas it had some water or something bad in it, Called '' bad Gas'' it happened to me.

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.
Need more data to help you out with WAG's.
Is it an actual engine knock or are you just lugging the engine and hearing something else. I have never experienced a knock, but always use a brand name fuel, and I have lugged the engine before.
How hot was it out when it happened?
