Once upon a time it had chrome wheels... 'til i joined this forum :)
For real??! The stealers will replace those parts and not argue its normal wear and tear? Wow, I've had my car for 3+ years and I never knew I could get peeling interior parts replaced under warranty. My passenger side plastic power window trim is starting to peel. Time to call the stealers before I hit the big 50k!

Actually my 2004 530 is peeling around the volume knob just like in those pics in the above link. I'm going to have that whole piece replaced at my next service visit. 1K left of warranty!

Hummm just by seeing the pics he's pretty harsh with his car... look at all that dirt and dust everywhere... so doesnt look like he takes care if it that well...
Of course thats no excuse for the poor interior quality...
P.S. mine's not peeling... *knock on wood 545 times* and mines also spotless inside out... no dust and dirt like that...

Well, thanks to this post, I brought my car in today and they are replacing all the peeling parts under warranty
They are also replacing the passenger and driver's side a-pillar trim that is coming up on the bottom. All this and a 328i loaner.
Thanks to Ricracing for starting this post, or else I wouldn't have even considered asking to getting the parts replaced. Good lookin' out!!

It was also covered here

It looks like pealing of painted finishes has been a problem with the E60's interior trim since it was introduced.
