I want to buy and fit oem M5 wings, but heard that it doesnt match the M-bumper because the wheelarch is slighly diffrent from normal E60/61? Anyone in here that can confirm this or have fitted them? I guess it will be very expencive if i have to get the oem M5 bumper as well.
Sorry for doubleposting, but didnt get any respons in the E61 section.

If you put wings on it won't it fly Ba hahahahahah

Sorry, I'm transplant to the states from England... A LONG time ago but there called fenders over here.

I beleive you are correct, the M5 fenders don't line up properly with the NON M5 nose, however I have seen pics where body shops filled in the difference. If you have a talented body guy it can be done.

What about just adding the vents to the existing "wings"?

I can do that of course, but want to do it properly. Should have got an original M5, but they are very expensive in Norway. Around 300 000$ for a new M5 touring.

If you just want the M5 look wings with vent, you may want to take a look at this one. I bought it in ebay China for $60 pair (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M...3559QQtcZphoto). It is plushed and the vents protrusions looks real and came with the adhesive, the optical illusion amazes everyone even my dealer and very similar as compared to the original even if you touch it.

Hope this helps...cheers! btw sorry for the dark picture please refer to the website to see clearly...Anyone fitted oem M5 front wings to their E60?-wings.jpg

Beyond the purchase price I don't know if I could stomach the fuel costs of an M5 in Europe. We complain about the M5 mileage here in the states and gas is currently $2.05/gallon for Super...

My opinion: Don't make it look like a M5 if it's not !!!

if you can't afford the M5 then thats just too bad

I personally wouldnt make my 535 look like an M5, but who the hell cares if he does? its his car. is it going to ruin your day if he makes his car look like an M5? "If you cant afford an M5 thats just too bad"??? sounds like you are a douchebag trust fund baby driving an M5 as opposed to a successful hard working adult. ass.

Optical illusion? Sorry man, you are not fooling anyone. Honestly, they make your car look cheap.

Look at my signature you blind fuck, it says 530 D right...

I started my reply with the words "my opinion:", that means that its what I think when I see someone badge tuning their cars right and it was intended to make him think about what other people might think, not that he has to care about that but many people do. And last, I'm no trust fund baby, although i'm only 25 y/o I've paid every single cent myself...
