i plan on ordering blizzak tires but was wondering if anyone has tried their all seasons in the snow?
I wouldn't suggest all seasons for vancouver winters. when the heavy slush we get freezes overnight, it is the soft rubber of a 'snow tire' that keeps us moving. I have four continental winter tires on oem 17" rims that I put on....glad I had them this morning!

I've been driving my stock all season tires for the past 3 winters now and I have no complaints. But then again, I have an xi.

I drive the all-seasons in Massachusetts and so far I've had no problem whatsoever. I drive an all-wheel drive E60, but I also drive an E46 in the snow with just the GoodYear Triple tread tires and it's also fine. Slow speeds and anticipation does the trick for me. I realize that dedicated snow tires might be better, but with the proper skills and slow speed I don't have to go through the hassle of changing tires twice a year.

How well do snow tires preform in snow when there is 25-50% tred life remaining? do they preform the same as when they were brand new?

The more the tread, the better the tires perform in snow/rain. Dry weather you can get away with it...

All seasons suck, my fwd slips like crazy, stops shitting on all seasons. Winters are the way to go man.
