I'm killing myself over this Auburn leather issue and people keep telling me that on-line pictures dont do the color justice - that I have to see it in person.

I see it as basketball orange and I want to be proven wrong. Can anyone help me?

I'm in Westchester, NY and a regular visitor to the Splash handwash in Greenwich). Close depending where in CT you are. The auburn is not nearly as ornage as the photos. It really helps to see it in person

BMW of Watertown has a white with auburn on their lot. I also agree Auburn looks better in person than in photos. Its not orange like a basketball. Its deeper in color, but hard to explain.

Yep it looks good in person.. And it's true that it seems different when you see it in photos..

Auburn changes complexion with the exterior color. I first saw it in a Black Saphire 530 and didn't like it at all - too orange. Then I saw it in Mystic Blue and couldn't believe I was looking at the same interior. I fell in love with it and bought the car immediately. Haven't seen it in White - but my guess is it will come across as too bright.
