from the e60 european (german) brochure, the 'copper' colour is only available in europe.
anyone here have seen one or can take a photo of it? preferably in auburn interior that will be awesome.
not sure why this colour is not available anywhere else, but i think it is incredibly stunning.
cheers!

Lomag,

You are correct. My dealer informed me of this matter June 2003 when BMW decided not to release this color; however, BMW never took the color option off the books.

Perhaps, this color option will start with the 2005 release model.

Maybe the cupper would look a little bit like this.

hey, rollee, how are you doing? got my email? anyway, based on the official bmw usa website, only colors available for the e60 are black, blue, gray, green, silver, and white but in different darkness. interior colors are auburn, beige, black, and gray. sorry, no pink for some pink panthers out there . is the copper similar to the one on infiniti fx? i kind of like that color, too.

dvbert, the color of the m5 that you posted is probably called chiaretto red metallic. only 645 and 745 have this color, at least for the states. pls correct me if i'm wrong.

I have seen at least three E60s in copper metallic in the UK, the latest sighting being one that follwed me last Tuesday for around 5 miles. I have to say that I personally don't like this colour at all. It reminds me too much of something out of the 1970's when Ford/Vauxhall (GM for our non UK friends)/British Leyland all did this sort of colour.
