Any way to get options from VIN?

Want to buy a used E60, but without an original window sticker, and neither of us being BMW dealers, is there any way to pull the options list from just the VIN? Or am I in for a trip to the dealer with a smile and a prayer?

Vin only includes standard options and vehicle trim, added options and packages are not included. Even CarFax will not always have them since they depend on dealer reporting which is not accurate normally.
