Hi all

I can't go on any longer!!

I think I am going to have to finally change my tyres! They are getting a bit obvious now and I have been putting off the change due to the fact I need all four done!!

Has anyone on the UK had a good deal recently on some tyres, I've got goodyear runflats at present (245/40 R18), quite happy with them but would also be happy to have any other run flat fitted. I would travel for a decent deal.

I know choice of tyre is a much mentioned topic on the forum, but wondered what the latest thoughts on choice (and price) of tyre is!

Regards,

Interested too in the newest greatest run-flats-so I hear they now are 4th generation run flats that come stock on the 535s-what exactly are the best run flats out there if you do indeed want to stay with run flats?

Have a look at http://www.mytyres.net/start.html

I've used them for my other cars in the past and they've been competitive on price.

Hi,
Get yourself down to COSTCO, I recently priced up Michlien PS 2 Sport 245/50 R18 tyres at ?122 each including fitting and balance. Dont think there is much cheeper about. You need to go to the tyre section or ring your local branch (if you live north wales there is Chester on 01244 852070) if not goto this site http://www.costco.co.uk/default.htm.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the info! Are these runflats?? Its just I had a mate who tried COSTCO and he was told they couldn't do a tyre for him as Micheline don't do hat size. I will give them a ring and see what they can do, I'm in the South so I'll ring Bristol.

Cheers,

Dan

Dan,

Don't think they stock run flats but most of their tyres inside are Michelin's PS'2 and if you go into the main store theie is usually a computer where you input the size of rim and it prints out all the available tyres. Didn't ask about 19"+ but know they do stock 17 and 18's. I priced up the 18's think with 45 profile last month and were ?122 and everywhere else bout the ?160 mark. Quite a saving on these top tyres if all 4 need changing. Let me know how you get on.
