Any reason NOT to use Wynn's Formula Gold diesel treatment?
Just wanted to check before I go ahead and put it in my E60 535D. The car was running cold and so I have changed the thermostats which has fixed the issue.
Because it might have been running like that for some time (a couple of years perhaps?) I am keen to make sure the system is all in good order so have bought some of this. I used it once on my E46 330cd and had no issues so I believe it will be fine, but always best to check.

Should be fine as long as you dilute it with the proper amount of fuel in the tank.
It is best to pour the additive in the tank when the tank level is say 1/4 tank, then add the proper amount of additional fuel on top of it to mix it up well and bring the total mix up to the level prescribed in the directions.
