i tried the other day.. nothing works
just want to know if your car can play Mp3?

any where i can find out?

It is possible if enabled and if the disc is burned correctly.

or if your burn the mp3's on the CD as "audio CD"...

Not totally true as I recall. For cars built before 09/04 (I think that's the date), you have to have the Navigation option to ensure you have the proper hardware. There is a SIB on the forum outlining the details, but I recall that my Jan '04 car without Nav could not get MP3 activated...

Edit: Sorry, it's Sept '05. Here is the SIB outlining the issue and how to activate.

you mean by get the CIP updated to read mp3? ?
or just as it is can read Mp3
