I have SAT prep and NAV. I'm still told by BMWNA that they are 'looking into' when I can add SAT radio. Since BMW has figured this out for 2005 models, I would think they would have an answer for 2004 models.

Has anyone heard when we'll have an answer?

 

Good question. Just a thought, if we can get the aux input installed, you could get an aftermarket Sirus or XM sat radio. I think I may have found someone in the LA area that can do the install. I'll know by 11/19/04.

 

When I spoke to BMWNA a couple weeks ago, they said they're still working on a retrofit for MY04 cars. The '05 cars have a different wiring harness so it doesn't allow for an easy retrofit to '04 cars.

The rep I spoke with told me it wasn't the highest priority and that I shouldn't expect anything until at least Spring '05 but to call back around January to get any new information.
