Any members here with high mileage E60
115k on 2006 530i. Spent about $2k (since warranty expired) on oil and coolant leaks, suspension issues and wheel bearings. These repairs were at Indys mostly. At dealer it would easily be x3.
I am quite anal about suspension noises. The Indy didnt think I needed all the work I asked him to do
Love the car though and still feels special even after driving newer Acuras, Infinitis etc.

100,000 miles this week. Need to fix tailgate wiring and need a new battery.
How many people get 100,000 miles out of a battery? I think this one is original. Will verify tomorrow.

I believe we should only post in this thread if we have more than 120k miles. Also, please post your experience in those miles...
My experience:
2007 BMW 550i with 188k miles.
The car is in perfect shape. No noises no nothing. I've been taking well care of it and of course a couple or more things has been repaired or replaced. But it still drives amazing and like a new car.

2006 550i with 147k miles. Looks and runs great. I still love the car. BUT I just replaced the alternator and the leaking gasket in the bracket under for $1200. And my mechanic tells me that the left and right valve and timing covers are leaking. $2k to fix. And Valley pan and pipe have slow coolant leak that will need to be fixed sometime down the road. Another $2k. Should I fix? Or sell? Help!
