i was driving from staten island into NJ via outerbridge on sunday when i spoted a nice looking AW 3 series up ahead approaching the bridge. so like we all do, i drove up to check it out. as i got closer i noticed a AW 7 series getting on the bridge also from another exit coming behind me. obviously i did whatever i could to i position myself in btwn the 2 so we were riding in order (3,5,7). as i was rolling along i think the other drivers noticed the attempt to set up a mini-caravan of AW bmw's because the guy behind me was smiling and i kept seeing the eyes of the 3 series in his rearview. we rode for a bit as my fiance laughed at me but i think we were all shocked when from the left a brand new AW 1 series vert pulled up, slowed down a checked out the rides but didnt follow the crowd. must have been cool to see the 4 cars though from the other side of the road...wish i had a pic.

Cute story. Maybe the 1er slowed down to take a pic

I doubt you'd get 4 white BMWs within 50 square miles here in Germany. I've still never seen an AW 5er in the flesh despite seeing on average I'd guess 50-100 each trip I make into town. That's 6 years of e60s and never one AW.

wow, e60's and 7 series are common in nyc. theyve been popping up alot more now because of the good deals on pre-owned. this is def the first time though ive been next to 4 AW bmws at once. 1 or 2 others is not that strange but all of them in order is rare.
