Anyone have anthracite headliner pics? Or other non-standard pics? I didn't even know there was an option like that.

Maybe I'm still not catching on. Is that the square thing in the middle? Or is that the entire roof liner?

Is this a non-US Option? Anyone know?

My Ride: Currently: E46 M3 -02 Topaz, SMG, HK etc (Will stay). On order : 530d Touring TiSilver, BlackDakota Leather, M-sport Package, Comfort Seats, Logic 7, Active Stearing, Xenon, BT etc.

It's the entire roofliner, have this on my M3 and orderd it on my commin 530d (it's included i the M-package here in Sweden).

My Ride: 2006 Silver Grey 550i (est delivery 12/06) Auburn / Poplar Interior / Anthracite headliner M body aero kit/ sport/ sound/ comfort access/ comfort seats/ sunshade/ sat radio

I was considering the silver gray 550i but when I saw the sapphire black in the showroom...

I live in Florida and I am a bit worried about the heat in a black car.

Anyone have pics of a black with Auburn interior and the anthracite headliner?!?

Does anyone who has the anthracite headliner regret getting it? like is it too dark or claustrophobic inside the car? I will probably lightly tint the windows as well.

No regret getting anthracite headliner. I think it looks great.

It gets pretty hot here in summer & black car, leather & headliner are no problem. That is what climate control is for

My Ride: 2005 BMW 330i Orient Blue exterior Beigh leather interior with Wood trim, Premium package, Steptronic auto, Xenon headlights.

I also live in Florida(Orlando) and my sapphire black 530i in a Hot summer day has no problem cooling the interior down quickly. go ahead and get a black exterior you'll love it. Nothing looks better then a Black exterior with Beigh Interior car. Looks very Classy and Sophisticated

I would never be concerned about the heat in a black car--i.e., with AC suncreens, and tint. The heat of a black car is, in my opinion, something of a myth. For example, in Phoenix, the heat becomes miserable in any closed/parked car over a very short time period.

I would be very, very concerned about the maintenance needed to keep a black car looking good. Seriously, if you want your car to look good most of the time and don't want to spend a tremendous amount of time of the car, then don't get black. I can't get my silver gray dirty. Black cars in showrooms definitely sell themselves. Check out this thread: See donv's comments. They are for real. Never black again, although I love black cars.

There are some gorgeous black cars on the discussions. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear--not that I expect your opinions to mirror mine. I doubt they will. Maybe you can provide encouragement to aimd.
