Hi!
Today I was getting my car back after a software update.

They have delivered the car with German voice language in the voice commands, but now they have changed it to English. My dealer also promised to update the software to 16.2.

Before I leaved the car I was checking the version in the VersionKontrolle menu. By doing the following:

1. Go to VersionKontrolle
2. Scroll down
3. After some scrolls the subject in the menu changed from VersionKontrolle to Tuner Test.
4. I scrolled towards the bottom and the following text was in the display:

I 03-05-500 vom 08.12.2004

I asked the dealer if they had updated the software version and he said to me that I already had the newest version (16.2) so they couldn?t perform any update of it.

I also checked again in the VersionKontrolle menu and it stated the same text: I 03-05-500 vom 08.12.2004

I have read the other threads about how to see what type of software version you have but I cant understand how to do this and my conclusion is that only service technical could see it.

Jannek, I am also seeking to change the voice commands from German to English.
My dealer today told me today after a software update, that this option was not
available to him.

You having it - proves the opposite. You had German changed to English.

Could you please ask your dealer the install procedure and PM or email me with some information.

TIA
