Glad you're ok. I hate when junk cars like that are behind me. You can imagine in a panic stop that they are not going to have the same ability to stop that you have in a better car. I had a Camry run into the back of my truck on Monday for the same reason. My truck could stop but the Camry's bad brakes and tires could not slow it down in time. I heard screeching for several seconds then boom. Fortunately she hit my trailer hitch and I had no damage but the Camry now has a hole in the front.
