open road...
Coming off roundabout in the order of CLK320 then 2004 330ci then me.
They both went into left lane 320 leading the charge. I came up on right lane and drifted past both up to 130mph.
I thought I would pass a lot eaier, but I was 3 passengers + shopping!
CLK gave up after that and I eased off for traffic while the 330 glued to my ass!
The road cleared again and from around 90mph I floored it and 330 really struggled to stay with me. We kept going from around 80-90 up to 120ish with the same results. It was good fun and when we came to another roundabout, the 330 driver gave me the thumbs up and a smile. Also good to see 2xBMs showing up an MB driver!

I had a similar scene last night, a e90 330i and Me and a MB 240c. The E90 was leading the race. And the driver of the e90 was around 40-50ish in age, i am 29 and the MB driver looked my age. Its was around 3:30am and we where heading on 355 A major highway. At this point we where all speedin around 80mph. the 330i though he was hott stuff the MB kept gunning it to get ahead of the 330i, at this point i am just watching then once the MB passes the 330i i gun it to glide past both of them and take the lead off the MB. THe MB then slowed down and waited till he could get around the two Bimmers. Once he did we had all three lanes open, and yes we all gun it.... I had the lead then the 330i then the mb, but the MB gave the 330i a run for its money? top speed was around 140mph and the two other cars we in my rear view only......but the MB 240 was clsoe tot he 330i E90.?? thought the 330i was as quick as the e60 530i? am i worng? is the 330i faster then the 530i and the MB 240i? Well i left as a winner but only cause no one wanted to gun to top speeds....

I live near Route 2 and I-95....both nice long highways....and I often get such encounters at route 2 to boston.....no cops there. Everyone seems to take advantage of the no cop factor, with me constantly facing 350Zs,Sti and evos. I know its illegal but it gives me such a rush as I blow past them. So far.....i've only been overtaken by a crazil modified acura rsx and a camaro.....both crappy cars...lol

i would have thought the e90 330 would take the 530
the e46 330 was quick! not that i had any trouble fully loaded getting round him!

respect though .. e90 330 down!

well maybe the E90 was still in its run-in period and didn't want to take the risk.

That's the advantage of a sport sedan; you always have room for spectators when the opportunity arises. Like the air show, try to keep them safe.
