Hey guys,
Thanks for the great input so far. Very helpful. Anyway, was also wondering if it is possible to have nav retrofitted to a vehicle that has sirius sat radio and had the sat pre-prep obviously. Is this possible? If not, is it a hardware issue, or a software one? I was thinking with my bmw assist, sat radio and now nav that little shark fin might not have enough ports to accomodate these three options. Let me know! I have CIP 13.3 by the way for software related issues.

JJ: First, tell us approx. where you are; it's impossible to help effectively without knowing that. Second, it's nice to specify what year/model/options you have in your signature. It's implied by your post that you're in the us. If so, I think it's possible to add Nav/voice recognition. To be sure, call bmwna, if you're us-based, give them your vin number and ask!
