My baby finally arrived today. Order placed in mid August, took a little over 3 months. So far, so good. Initial observations:

1. As someone that has rarely driven manuals in the past but wanted more fun driving, the SMG hasn't been too difficult to get used to. Even my wife is getting the hang of it!

2. The Xenon lights are unbelieveable compared to prior vehicles with halogen lights. A huge difference, if you're not sure this is almost a "must have" option.

3. Sirius is awesome! I'm just beginning to learn about the programming but setup was easy.

4. If you get the Nav definitely get the HUD. I wasn't going to get the HUD but posters to this board advised me that it was worth getting and they were right- thanks!

5. Have a Nokia 6820 phone- made the bluetooth pairing no problem, but when i get in the car and start up the car tries to connect to the phone, but has not successfully done so yet. Not sure what the problem is.

For those of you still waiting for your special delivery let me tell you, the wait will be worth it. Took a few pics today (but the car was dirty, some rain), will post tomorrow.

 

It's me. Yes, I am thinking how my wife drives SMG...She likes automatic. Your word encourages me a lot! Thanks bunch !
