a person who does not get the I-drive thing, I mean how to control it is a ohfgnjdsgf;dng;fdgn. How easy it is. Ok it may take more than a day but since you get use to it it is the best and sooooo simple and logic!!!

No pride of ownership in an E60 you trust this from a guy who drives an E46. For those of us who are here I think we are very happy with the E60. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I have had the chance to own an E46 and an E39 before my E60 and I can say that the E39's quality is better than the E46 and the E60's quality is better than the E39, would I trade my E60 for an E46? Never

I think his comments were that of a staunch 3 series owner who even if they liked the 5 couldn't bring themselves to admit it. I will agree though with his views on the interior if he did in fact have the std silver trim with the cheap looking std aircon knobs because IMHO this setup does look bland and cheap.
Never the less if you were to put a 525d next to a 325i I doubt very much if the 3 would leave the 5 let alone beat it.
I drive is for drivers. Loads of small confusing buttons are for people who like crashing!

I used to have an E46 before the E60 and liked it very much. I have to admit, I had the same feeling on the interior at first as well - but it was only temporary. There is no doubt the E60 is a proud upgrade. The E46 for me belongs in a different era, maybe the guy can't or won't move on.

I went from a 2001 E46 330 to my 2004 E60 545 and the only thing about the 330 that I like better than my 545 is the lower car payment. Everything else about the 545 I like better than the 330.

I had Toyota Solara (2-door Camry) and I said BMW sucks. I also had Lexus, and I also said BMW sucks. When I test drove my current BMW 530i, and I said BMW rocks, and Toyota sucks

I love E60 style from day 1 when magazine started previewing it. It looks fantastic, but I still disappoint the rear, but with red rear reflect on Alpine white, it looks much better

If anyone can use iPod, he/she can use i-Drive easily. Those guys bashful at i-Drive are those guys who don't know what MP3 is.
