My Ride: I have a 2007 Black Sapphire BMW 530i with SMG. It has the auburn interior, has PDC, Sports Package, Premium Package, rear automatic sunshades with manual side sunshades, 35% black tint, Upgraded angeleyes from Angelibrights, and Logic 7 Sound System
Model Year: 2007
Default

So, for those of you who have installed them, how do they look and how long did it take you to install them??

My Ride: On order: 07 550i, Jet black, black interior, steptronic, sports package, logic 7 sound minus CD changer, rear door mounted airbags, HUD, navigation and comfort access
Default

Installing them is a lesson in patience. I was able to install the right side without taking off the headlight assembly. However, there is little space to manuever making it difficult to move the light into position. That side took me about 30 min. The left side was impossible to install without taking off the headlight assembly. Taking off the headlight is no easy matter too. However, once off it makes it very easy to install. Took me 30 min to try and install it without taking off the headlight assembly on the left side. Took 10 min to take off the headlight and another 5 to install the light.

As to how it looks, well the one light that was working looked good. But the other light was defective. When I installed it, one side looked dimmer than the other. The color was also off. I uninstalled both lights and shined them next to each other and it was obvious one light was not as bright as well as the color being off.

So when you get yours, be patient and if one side looks off, shine both lights next to each other see each to see if you got a bad light.

I emailed them, but I think I put in a call tomorrow and speak with Dave. I hope I can get a hold of him. Iceman said he's been trying, but no luck.
