Well, that would be highly unlikely because as far as the collective knowledge knows, there's no way of coding angel eyes as DRL for pre-LCIs.

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

Correct, onm the LCI the DRL are the AE's. However, that is not the case on the pre LCI. This is the inner lamp that illuminates. Sounds like there should be something in the setup under lighting that would turn then AE's back on...
