EBMCS03, Iceman will be looking for you soon!

Those fogs are on for a good reason... it was when I first installed the 4700K fogs and I had to check if they worked... that pic is from the DIY Fog install thread.

On some of the newer Audis, the running lights are xenons (at least I think they were DRLs) so I though the E60 would be the same and paid the dealer to turned them on. At that time, I didn't even know I can turn on the angel eyes by themselves. When they were disabled I was going to have them reactivated but after reading this...hell no. I like the angel eyes by themselves...more unique that way.

Thanks for the info guys.
Don't you check your DRL after they turn it on for you?

I have been driving in Canada (where DRL is mandatory) for a long time and I don't find the DRL increase the safety factor except for those idiots who forgot to turn on their low beams at night. Sometimes I just wonder how they see the dashboard without even turning on the parking lights, or do they look at their dashboard at all?

That's when I found out they weren't like the Audis Then I replaced them with Silverstars and they were still yellow... oh well, not getting them turned back on anymore.

They appears yellow because it wasn't on full power. Just leave it off if you can plus don't need to worry about another burn out bulb.

Hey those silverstars are useful! I changed them when I had DRLs and like you said still yellow so I decided to turn off the DRLs but kept the Silverstars... waiting for that jerk off to cut me off and he'll get blinded!!! that or those left lane hoggers.

Yep, I figured the power output to those DRLs were lower than normal, hence the yellowish beam.
