I am aware that setting up angel eyes as DRL has been discussed over and over but I believe it is not 100% how it should work. The default setting of my car is when DRL is on in the idrive menu the angel eyes and xenon low beams are on when the light switch is set to auto, the interior lighting is also on then. Now, when i code the car to only use the angel eyes as DRL and DRL is active in the idrive menu the angel eyes are always on, not matter if the light switch is set to auto or zero. Also the interior lighting is off, it will only turn on when it will get dark outside together with the xenons.

So i am wondering if someone has achieved to have to angel eyes as drl only, but that they will go off when the light switch is set to zero. And that the interior light is on when set to auto with angel eyes only.

I believe that coding the car as angel eyes only as drl available on many forums is not as it should work 100%, so I was wondering if someone has managed to code it as oem?
