I'm from Boston, MA. and mine don't seem to be working and I just had my car updated to V17.1 but to be honest I don't know if they worked when I got the car.... I thought I did see them on before the update but I really don't know..

So John, your LEDs are not working on any light setting? Not when the parking lights are on, not when the auto headlights are on? Not when the regular headlights are on?

I have daytime driving lights turned on, and my LEDs don't work with DRLs, but other than that, they appear to be fine. Don't blow a gasket!! If they don't work, just take the car back to the dealer and ask what's up!!

Actualy I have only tried them on AUTO, I didn't know that it would change if Iused the regular headlights, also unless they lied to me about updat to V17.1 I don't have anything in my light menu (I checked tonight) about turning daytime driving lights on/off (I read a few people said that once they got 17 they had that option in there light menu).

I had software upgdatedto 17.x according to my tech (not service advisor), although the tech said there were no applicable upgrades to my vehicle in 17, so, I really didn't get updated........

But I digress from this thread.....my LEDs work fine.? The only time I don't see them on, is when I turn the ignition off and the angel eyes remain on until a door is open.? But, with headlights, and parking lights, the LEDs are aglow!!? I'm wondering, and I don't know if this would be possible, but is this a geographic thing?? Seems like most of the people complaining about the LEDs not working are in Europe.....or maybe I just imagined that.......??

Yeah....I had that theory too........but then there were some people in Europe that still had the LED's working. There is still only one person that posted here with a US car that has the LED's not working.

By the way, I thought on my car the angel eyes AND the LED's stay on when you turn the ignition off and before you open the door. You're saying that in your case it's only the angel eyes? I have never updated my software...I think I have 15.xx.

Rody...that's correct....until I open my door, as best as I can tell by looking at reflective surfaces, only my angel eyes remain on after ignition is off, prior to opening door. I don't know if it was like that before my update to 16.2..... I think I'll check that again now that you have a different scenario. Of course, you are still at 15.x, so maybe it is the software update that changed it.....

OK, so all indications are my software is at least 17.x, since my e60 was built mid-May. It's a US 545i. Angel eyes and amber LEDs all work properly.
