Hi, all you eyebrow-less ones...
A quick update on my situation - the dealership was unable to fix it by changing modules (as someone else reported) and they told me that the overall fix is not likely until the next CIP release. However, they have scheduled an FSE (a BMW factory tech?) to come in the week after next (Nov 28th) - he's going to bring a patch and try to intall it to get the lights back on. I'll let you know how it goes...
Cheers, Jon.

Just had version 23.2 upgrade last week to supposedly fix the "slam effect" for the transmission. After reading this post I went to see if my "angel eyes" and "eyebrow LEDs" work. Angel eyes work and the LEDs don't.
Just talked to the service advisor and he talked to the service manager. It appears to be a known issue and will be corrected in version 24.x. He says the service manager expects that to be in March 2007.
After the version 23.2 upgrade, the "accept" feature does it on it's own after PDC screen goes away. The service advisor tells me this is suppose to happen. Anyone know if this is true?

I had 23.01 installed in early October with my ipod interface. LED's, eyebrows and DRL's are all functional on my car.

Interestingly, they have to replace the passenger side mirror - apparently one of the bugs in the latest fix causes the heater in the mirror to run after the reboot at a high temp and crack it!

I brought this to the attention of my dealer because I am in getting the CIP u/g now...they tested it this morning and all lighting is working correctly.

Another glitch I noticed is when you first start up, the clock displays in military time for a few seconds and then goes to normal.
like 2300 instead of 11pm ?
