I can see why it would bother you. However, that Camaro looks sweet and with the aftermarket as popular as it is, it was only a matter of time. AEs don't define the BMW look. They are a distinct feature that complete the look. It's really the combination of the lines, AEs, kidney grill, fogs and front end in general. That's the differentiator. No Civic is going to look as sweet no matter how bright or what color his halos are.

I saw a Dodge Magnum with AE's the other day.

I am surprised Lexus hasn't copied the Angel Eyes. Since they copy every other BMW and Mercedes.

BMW are *really* accentuating the kidneys in the newest models. On the new Z4 it looks very very wide. I got overtook by a Z4 yesterday at some traffic lights. First he was behind me and I was thinking "is that a Z8?" then as it went by me in the next lane I thought man the Z4 is looking sweet now. Then I watched it turn left and it looks sweet from behind. I never thought anything about the Z4 before, but now it's really good looking in person. Not sure how it looks in pictures on websites, but in the flesh it's really nice. Just a shame it's little brother the Z3 is such an ugly c**t that I wouldn't accept if they gave them away with boxes of cornflakes.

I've seen a lot of lexus's in my neighborhood do the angel eyes. Some car's look great with the angel eyes, some look like overkill.

What can you do you know? I wish we can upgrade our e60 angel eyes. Its so dim. oh wellz. Stupid headlight impossible to take apart.

LEDs, AE, eyebrows, clocks...these are all just design elements that make up the overall product copying the design elements doesn't make the product any better. Last night I was at a restaurant and out the corner of my eye caught the amber glow of an eyebrow and the partial curve of an AE I knew right away what it was. If you look at any of these 'copies' you are not going to mistake them for a BMW.

You could upgrade to angel eyebrights, they're apparently good. Look in your signature for details

I dont think copied AE's look too bad, especially the pics posted by the OP! .... I feel sorry for the Audi drivers! It seems everyone is putting the LED strips under their headlamps nowadays imitating the R8!
